The Elite+ is a medical-grade system that combines two wavelengths — 755 nm Alexandrite and 1064 nm Nd:YAG — in a single platform. Each wavelength targets hair differently, and together they let us treat a broad range of skin tones safely and effectively.
The Alexandrite wavelength is highly efficient for lighter, finer hair, while Nd:YAG safely treats darker skin tones and deeper, coarser hair. That flexibility is exactly what we need to personalize every treatment.

The Technology Behind the Treatment
Laser energy is absorbed by the pigment (melanin) in the hair shaft, converting to heat that disables the follicle’s ability to grow new hair while sparing the surrounding skin. Because hair grows in cycles, treatments are scheduled over time to catch each follicle in its active phase. Selecting the right wavelength for your skin tone and hair type is what makes treatment both safe and effective.

Is it safe for darker skin tones?
Yes. The 1064 nm Nd:YAG wavelength is specifically chosen for darker skin tones because it targets the hair safely while minimizing risk to the surrounding skin.
How many sessions will I need?
Most areas require a series of 6–8 sessions, spaced according to the hair growth cycle. We’ll build a plan tailored to the areas you’d like treated.
Can I shave between sessions?
Yes — shaving is recommended between treatments. Avoid waxing or plucking, as the follicle needs to be present for the laser to target.
